students will be introduced several words each week and be asked to engage with the vocabulary to provide evidence of understanding its meaning and use, students will read 3 books (provided; The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, Wonder,  & Inside Out and Back Again) as a group throughout the year engaging in deep character study, storyline clues, etc to thoroughly discuss each book.  Grammar and reading skills will also be challenged on a regular basis.
