Build It! Engineering Club
Ages: Elementary | Length: 14 weeks
Get ready to explore, invent, and build! In this exciting hands-on program, students dive into the world of engineering by creating a new project each week. From building spaghetti towers and foil boats to testing earthquake-safe structures and launching marshmallow catapults, kids will discover how real engineers solve problems with creativity and teamwork.
Each class is designed to spark curiosity and develop important skills:
Critical thinking & problem-solving: Kids will plan, test, and improve their creations.
Collaboration: Many projects involve working together to brainstorm and build.
STEM learning: We’ll cover concepts like gravity, energy, stability, and simple machines — all in a fun, approachable way.
By the end of the semester, students will not only have a collection of impressive builds, they’ll also have a deeper understanding of how the world around them works — and the confidence to tackle new challenges head-on.
