Forensics is a hands-on science course that introduces students to the techniques investigators use to solve crimes and analyze evidence. Through labs, simulations, and case studies, students will explore fingerprint analysis, DNA, chromatography, blood typing, trace evidence, handwriting analysis, toxicology, and crime scene investigation. Students will learn how scientific observation, critical thinking, and laboratory techniques help uncover the truth behind real-world mysteries. This course emphasizes scientific reasoning, evidence collection, and problem-solving while giving students an exciting introduction to forensic science.


This is a one semester Course that will be followed in the Spring by Medical Detectives.
