Wild & Weird Science: Physics Edition

Tiny Mysteries, Big Ideas: The Strange World of Quantum Science

Grades 6-8 | Length: 8 Weeks | Day: Monday

This workshop dives into the mind-blowing science of the tiniest things in our universe—atoms, particles, and the invisible forces that shape everything around us. We’ll explore how light can act like both a wave and a particle, why we can never know everything about where something is, and how two tiny particles can stay connected across space (even if it sounds impossible!).

Each week, students will tackle fascinating experiments, fun games, and wild “what-if” discussions that make these tricky ideas easier to understand. We’ll even look at how these strange rules of nature might lead to future technologies like quantum computers and teleportation.

Students receive a Lab kit with glasses, badge & lanyard, Student Lab Journal

Perfect for:

🧩 Curious students ages 12+ who love science, mysteries, and thinking about how our world really works.
