Cullman Homeschool Drama Club is proud to present The Thirteenth Cookie

Loosely based on Aaron Shepard's The Baker's Dozen, the play retells the dutch colonial christmas legend of an honest, but greedy baker.

In the colonial  Albany, New York, there lived a baker, Van Amsterdam, who was as honest as she could be. Each morning, she checked and balanced her scales, and took great care to give her customers exactly what they paid for—not more and not less.  She was honest to a fault, but learns a valuable lesson in generosity.

Our actors and production team have done it all from adapting the story to script, building sets, gathering props, designing costumes, and weeks of dedicated practice.  We are proud of their efforts and hope everyone will come out to see it.

If you would like to help out our drama club, there is a $5 suggested donation that will go to future productions, but there is no charge to attend the play.
