Mysterious Mixtures! (3 hours) -- $20 -- Grades 6-9 

This will be a scientist led experiment in a working biotech lab.  In this guided-inquiry, skills-based lab, students will use common lab equipment such as graduated cylinders and pan balances to create solutions. Then, they will investigate acids and bases, test the pH of solutions, and identify a mysterious substance.

HudsonAlpha is  a national and international leader in genetics and genomics research and biotech education.  this will take place in Huntsvilles at their education center. 

We have been on a waitlist for a  field trip for students We got word that a slot has come open for Oct 26, but I need to know by Oct 5 who would be interested.   We need a minimum of 10 to make this happen.   Students should (bring a sack lunch).  We are limited to 22 students!
