Senior Connection: Class of 2027

Welcome to the first weekly Senior Connection check-in. Each week, I’m going to post something practical you can actually use: a task to complete, a deadline to think about, a question to answer, or something worth doing before senior year gets away from us.

For this week, take 30 minutes and check these five things:

1. Look at the transcript.

Make sure every completed course, credit, grade, dual-enrollment class, and current senior-year course is accounted for. Don’t wait until May to discover something is missing.

2. Know what your senior is doing after graduation, even if the answer is “we’re still figuring it out.”

College? Trade school? Military? Work? Gap year? Entrepreneurship? Undecided is okay. But knowing what possibilities are on the table helps you know what deadlines matter.

Questions. Support. Community. All year long.

Senior year comes with a lot to keep up with, and you do not have to figure it all out alone.

This community is open to homeschool seniors and their families navigating the Class of 2027 senior year. Ask questions, compare notes, share resources, get reminders, and connect with other families working through the same season.

We’ll talk about transcripts, testing, college and career planning, FAFSA and scholarships, senior pictures, graduation, celebrations, and all the little details that come with finishing high school.

You do not have to participate in North Alabama Homeschool Graduation to join. This group is for the broader homeschool senior community.
